About Me
"Writing eulogies - capturing the 'lifetime between the dashes' - and playing this small role in providing a sense of comfort for those who are grieving, means the world to me."
Meet Aubrey, your personal eulogy writer.
|
Hi, my name is Aubrey.
I am a wife and mom with dual passions for writing and death care. How did I become a eulogy writer, of all things? Long story short.... I have been a writer my whole life. In 2016, after working for years in various writing positions, I got my first job at a local funeral home, something I'd wanted to do for a long time. After graduating from mortuary school the following year, I continued in the field, and gained valuable experience in both corporate and family-owned funeral homes throughout my area. Not long after that, my husband and I started our family. I wanted to be at home with my family, but also wanted to continue serving within the realm of funeral service. What could I do? |
Well... I put two and two together. "Funeral service plus writing. Funeral service plus writing." Ding! Light bulb moment: eulogies. Needless to say, it was soon clear that eulogy writing was the path of service I was called to embark upon.
So, in early 2019 we took a leap of faith, and Eulogies by Aubrey was born. Since then, through the grace of God and the power of the Internet, EBA has grown to provide this much-needed eulogy service to families all across the globe. I am so grateful and honored to be able to do this every day.

As an "old millennial," I love spending time with my husband and kiddos, listening to music, reading, planning, organizing, and decorating. I have practiced Pilates for 12 years, and am a budding student of Qigong. I enjoy latch-hooking in my spare time, keeping up with Ranger baseball, and traveling to the Texas coast every summer with my family.
In addition to Eulogies by Aubrey, I hold certifications in cremation arrangement (ICCFA), as well as burial at sea (NEBAS). My work has been featured in Coming of Age Magazine, The Modern Mortician, All Gifts Considered, US Urns Online, and 1800flowers.com. In 2022, Eulogies by Aubrey officially joined the Professional Speechwriters Association.
Writing eulogies - capturing the "lifetime between the dashes" - and playing this small role in providing a sense of comfort for those who are grieving, means the world to me. I look forward to working with you to create the best eulogy possible for your loved one.
